With more than 30 years of combined experience in renovation and customer service, Reed Haley brings both craftsmanship and care to every project. As the owner and licensed general contractor of Gate City Build Group since 2017, Reed has built a reputation for honesty, dependability, and genuine dedication to the families he serves. He takes pride in guiding clients through the remodeling process with clarity and integrity—helping them transform their homes while building lasting relationships along the way.

Reed earned his management degree from Georgia Southern University, where he met his wife, Stephanie. Together they have three children: Jackson, who works alongside him as a Project Manager for Gate City Build Group; Todd, who plays varsity football and baseball at Walton High School and competes with the 643DP Cougars; and Reese, a student at St. Francis and a competitive dancer with Rhythm Dance Center.

Outside of work, Reed enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time outdoors—though he admits to dialing back the daredevil streak in recent years. He’s an active part of the East Cobb community and is always quick to lend a hand, whether supporting local teams or volunteering his time and skills where they’re needed most.

John Rogers has been immersed in the remodeling industry since 1995, combining decades of hands-on experience with a deep understanding of business strategy and project execution. He founded his own remodeling company in 1996 and successfully led it for over two decades before selling it in 2019. His career has been marked by a commitment to excellence, precision, and helping others in the construction industry succeed.

As Lead Estimator for Gate City Build Group, John plays a key role in shaping the company’s success. He focuses on developing detailed construction contracts, refining estimating systems, and collaborating with the team on process improvement and business analytics. His analytical mindset and deep industry insight help ensure that every project begins with clarity, accuracy, and a solid plan for success.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 35 years and their grown children, who are spread across the U.S. and the U.K. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he shares Reed’s love for mountain biking and can often be found on the trails when he’s not behind his laptop. John brings the same discipline and focus to his rides that he does to his work—always pushing for improvement and excellence in everything he does.

With more than 25 years of experience in broadcast journalism and television production, Stephanie Haley brings creativity, strategy, and storytelling expertise to Gate City Build Group. As a former media executive and Vice President of Programming at HLN, she developed and marketed thousands of hours of national television content, building a deep understanding of how to connect with audiences in a meaningful way.

Having long supported Gate City Build Group from behind the scenes, Stephanie is proud to now contribute directly to the company’s growth. She focuses on brand development, communications, and showcasing the craftsmanship and care that define the GCBG team. Her experience in media and marketing helps highlight the company’s work and strengthen its connection to the North Atlanta community.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her kids’ many activities, and staying involved in the East Cobb community. Her creativity, professionalism, and passion for storytelling make her a valuable part of the Gate City Build Group team.

Suzanne Hawranko has been an integral part of Gate City Build Group since its inception. She oversees the company’s accounting and financial operations, manages subcontractor relationships, coordinates insurance and compliance, and handles many of the administrative details that keep projects and people aligned.

With a strong background in construction administration and finance, Suzanne brings both precision and professionalism to every aspect of her work. Her organizational skills and steady leadership ensure that the office runs efficiently and that project teams have the information and support they need to stay on track.

Beyond her professional expertise, Suzanne is known for her approachable nature and genuine care for the people she works with. She values teamwork, clear communication, and maintaining a positive environment where everyone can do their best work. Her combination of technical skill and personable leadership makes her an essential member of the Gate City Build Group team.

Jackson Haley plays a key role in supporting Gate City Build Group’s day-to-day operations and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. Known for his strong work ethic and easygoing nature, he brings both technical know-how and a team-oriented attitude to every job site.

Originally from Florida, Jackson began his career in the construction industry working in the electrical field, where he gained valuable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to keep a project moving efficiently. His transition to the general contracting side has allowed him to expand his skills and take on a broader role in project coordination and client communication.

Outside of work, Jackson enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing with friends, and relaxing with a good movie. His attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to learning make him a valued part of the Gate City Build Group team and a promising leader for the future.

As Lead Carpenter for Gate City Build Group, José “Chuy” Landros brings years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the building process. Well-versed in a variety of trades, Chuy combines skill, precision, and pride in craftsmanship to ensure that every detail on the job site meets the company’s high standards.

Chuy is often found in the middle of the action—reviewing plans, coordinating with subcontractors, and making sure every aspect of construction comes together as it should. He has an eye for detail and a steady approach that helps projects stay organized, efficient, and built to last. Whether it’s framing, finish work, or troubleshooting on site, Chuy’s leadership and experience help set the tone for quality on every job.

When he’s not on the job, Chuy enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with his family. His strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and commitment to doing things the right way make him a trusted and respected member of the Gate City Build Group team.
